Conferences in Nice and Paris

From 29 May to 1 June 2018 in Nice (France), a meeting of the members of the traceological association AWRANA took place. Two posters were presented by members of the project there: ”Large houses” in the Mesolithic of the Polish Lands? A case of the Ludowice 6 site. The significance of the use-wear analysis for the settlement studies (by Grzegorz Osipowicz) and Function of the Mesolithic bâtons percés: problem solved? (by Grzegorz Osipowicz and Mariusz Bosiak).

In turn, from 4 to 9 June 2018 in Paris (France) took place the 18th UISPP world congress on which a speech by dr G. Osipowicz was presented: Mesolithic wood tar production place? Possible dwelling and a complex of the stone structures from Paliwodzizna 29 site, Golub-Dobrzyń commune (central Poland).

Archaeological Christmas Seminary of the Institute of Archaeology

On December 19, 2017, the IX Archaeological Christmas Seminary of the Institute of Archaeology, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń took place, during which dr Grzegorz Osipowicz presented a paper entitled: Pracownia Traseologii – teraźniejszość i perspektywy badawcze. As part of it was discussed, among others, the results of studies related to the Project.

XXI Pomorzoznawcza session for years 2016-2017

On November 22-24, 2017, the XXI POMORZOZNAWCZA session for years 2016-2017 was held, organized by the Institute of Archeology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the District Museum in Toruń. As part of the prehistoric panel, dr Grzegorz Osipowicz presented a communication entitled:  Kompleks mezolitycznych piecowisk dziegciarskich? Z wyników badań na stanowisku 29 w Paliwodziźnie, gm. Golub-Dobrzyń.
